Elizabeth Strong grew up in a tradition of dance and music. As a young girl she was inspired by the music and dancing of the Middle East. Her amazingly emotional and personal style has captivated audiences in the Bay Area and abroad.

Elizabeth, a native San Franciscan, has traveled extensively and lived for months at a time in Istanbul and Tunisia. Her interest in dance from this region has driven these visits and she has studied extensively from the best dance teachers available. Learning original techniques from the Middle Eastern masters combined with Western studies in Middle Eastern Dance gives her a unique dance education allowing her to perform and teach to both cultures.
