10a - 11:30a Sassy Tribal Moves for Cabaret Dancers:
You've seen them, you love them, and have no clue how they are done. Come and learn fun and sassy moves that can be integrated into any style of bellydance. Want to know what the "Jiggy" is or the illusive "Black Widow"? Sign up and find out!
11:30a - 1p 3D Isolations by Obsidia:
Bellydancers all know the fundamental movements: maya, taxeem, chest circles, etc. In this workshop, Obsidia gives you the tools to begin developeing the foundation for EXTREME isolations that push these movements beyond the "norm" as if you are mving INTO the audience. You will learn a few short combinations that utilize this new found expansion of isolations. Drilling and discussion of the pertinent muscles used will be done. Bring a notebook.
1p - 2:30p Bhangra Fusion, Just Trudi Style!:
Come learn a Bhangra Fusion Choreography that combines elements of bhangra, hip-hop, bellydance, and some pure Just Trudi style! Hand outs will be available during class so we can concentrate on the fun!
